Fruit salad is an easy to do desert, light and healthy. You can add any fruits you want, seeds and interesting dressings. If you are on a diet or just don’t want too much sugar skip the whipped cream and choose low sugar fruits.

My fruit salad is pretty classical i can say. With fruits and a pinch of whiskey. It is super easy to do and it can be a perfect dessert for a festive dinner, especially because you can serve it in spectacular ways.
All we have to do is chop the fruits and beat the cream.
- First of all let the raisins to soak in hot water combined with rum essence.
- Wash the fruits.
- In a big bowl i added the grapes. I removed the pomegranate seeds and put them over the grapes. I peeled the bananas, apples, pears, oranges and cut them bite size. I removed the core from the mango fruit, peeled it and cut it in cubes.
- I strained the raisins and put them over the fruits along with the whiskey and stirred everything together.
- I made the cream.
- I prefer not to mix all the fruits with the cream because in just a few hours they then to leave a lot of moisture and the fruits loose their consistency. I add the cream on the spot before serving.
