Oh ……  beloved sauce enjoyed in salads, burgers, wraps and other stuff (i kinda believe that almost anything goes great with mayo). Here you have the recipe for home made mayo, much healthier and tastier than the store one. Seriously it is so easy to make that i don’t find any reason to buy already made mayo.

And obviously there is a small mystery surrounding my beloved mayo. Some say that it's origins come from France and the word mayonnaise comes from the old french "moyeu" which means egg yolk.

Others say mayo came to France from s Spanish island.

  • Mix the egg yolks in a tall bowl with salt and mustard.

  • After it blended start adding oil. Pour it very slowly at first, in driblets. If you add too much oil at once your mayo might break.

  • When the mayo starts to thicken and you added half of the oil start adding driblets of lemon juice, to your taste. Add one driblet of oil and one of lemon juice until you are happy with the quantity and consistency.

  • Mix it in a salad or enjoy it with french fries.
