Smoked salmon cream cheese

I found the recipe for this interesting and tasty starter. My first reaction to this was that it would be a sin to mash smoked salmon. But after that i decided to try it anyway and the result was surprisingly good. I’m definitely making this again.

I previously wrote about the benefits of salmon consumption. As you probably know it is recommended to eat as much as you can especially with kids and pregnant women.

This starter might not be to the taste of kids but for sure grown ups will love it. Try it out!

This is super easy:

  • Finely chop the dill.

  • In a bowl add smoked salmon, dill, capers, cream, cream cheese, lemon juice and Worcester sauce.

  • Mash everything using an electric blender until a smooth consistency.

  • Serve it on fresh baguette slices.

Enjoy your meal!

Tips:

  • I didn't add any more salt because the salmon and capers were pretty salty. Make it to your taste.
